I was a very young mother to 2 daughters and a son. I used to dress my daughters in matching dresses, one in pink the other in purple, and they absolutely hated anything girly! I was heartbroken as I loved everything frilly and girly. Well I guess the girly/fashionista gene skips a generation, because I am blessed with two granddaughters who absolutely love to shop and everything fashion. This is my 10-year-old granddaughter who I took school shopping. She isn't into frilly, but I am happy that she is clothes (and shoes!) obsessed. I plan on taking her to Paris when she turns 16--she is my mini me.
